Under limited supervision, is responsible for the daily operations of the HP 3000 Mainframe.

  • Reviews and monitors HP operations, identifies and reports deviations and malfunctions, and assures completeness of processes.
  • Prints and distributes reports, maintains logs and summary reports according to department procedures.
  • Performs basic trouble-shooting and problem solving of less complex technical problems.
  • Reports & resolves problems in accordance with standard operating procedures and consults with Corporate IT operations and technical staff when the cause of difficulty is not apparent.
  • Provides basic user administration functions (disk space management, backups and file restores).
  • Maintains communication with management to ensure compliance with local, regional, and corporate technology practices.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Performs non-routine assignments with direct supervision.

  • High school diploma.
  • One plus years of technical experience preferred.
  • Good computer skills a must.
  • Must be willing to occasionally work evening or night shifts.
