Overview:

JACK SPADE is inspired by companies that manufacture products that have style because the designs have a reason for being. With those products as inspiration, JACK SPADE was created. The brand returns to this approach, once again offering men's items that represent both honest, thoughtful design and practical purpose.

We are currently seeking applicants for our Spring 2010 Internship Program at our corporate headquarters. The program will run from January 25th through April 30th.

The positions will be in design and merchandising. Applicants must be a college junior or senior, able to work in a fast paced environment and eager to learn. Prior experience working in the fashion industry in menswear is a plus. Candidates must be professional, polished and polite. All students are required to receive academic credit through their college or university.


Responsibilities:

• Work with design team to support design functions
• Work with planning and merchandising team to support merchandising functions


Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
• Design background with basic understanding of merchandising functions
