Siemens Renewable Energy is part of Siemens’ Energy Sector (SEI) which employs more than 80,000 employees worldwide. The international headquarters of the Renewable Energy group is located in Germany with employees working with design, sales, and production in Denmark, Germany and the United States. Director – Solar Business Unit
Manager – Sales & Marketing

Scope of responsibility:
*Establishing and implementing sales support capabilities for Solar Power PV in the US, especially in the areas of proposal management, managing a network and selection of sub-supplier, and "high-level" engineering.
* Proposal management for larger /binding offers with support from HQ and other supporting groups in the US.
* Handling customer requests and non-binding offers
* Support Sales in clients' discussion and negotiations
* Sub-supplier selection and management for local content based on HQ specifications
* "High-level" engineering for non-binding offers with support from HQ
* Offer cost calculation and pricing

Key Requirements:
* More than 7 years of experience in international complex project business
* Experience in project business / project management mandatory
* Experience in Solar industry mandatory / within Energy Sector preferable
* Experience in leading teams preferable and in managing project teams mandatory
* Mid term potential for leadership positions
* Intercultural and US experience mandatory
* Self-starter mentaliy
* High degree of assertiveness and autonomy
* Knowledge of intercultural communication
* Knowledge of Siemens' internal PM@Siemens process
* Knowledge about management of subcontractors& third parties and of procurement and logistics guidelines and processes for both subcontracting, material & resources, etc.
* Knowledge of Business Conduct Guidelines, Rules and regulations for Project Management at Siemens, especially the LoA Process including the Project
* Understanding of the sales process from the acquisition of leads through to the successful handover of a project including the support requirements of Project Execution
