If the Obama's plan pushes through, there will be less pay for both nurses and doctors. Medical professionals will be less motivated to work because there is less pay and more workload. The richer people will resent it because they will have to pay more taxes of their hard-earned money while others (not all) just take advantage and cheat to be given free medical healthcare. Okay if people are deserving for the free healthcare, but not when one can afford it, but just don't want to pay.

I don't think anyone can answer that just yet, as the final plan hasn't passed and there will be modifications.

It will prop them up for a bit longer, because more money will be taken from more pockets to pay them. But then health care costs will drag down the whole U.S. economy, because they are already 16 percent of GNP and rising. What happens when the whole system becomes unsustainable is anyone's guess.
