You may get some help if the economy does not improve by summer. Then i would expect to see a $1,000 check to all tax filers..
A:
There is no check this year.
Sorry.
When you get back to work, you will see an extra $14 every two weeks if you are at average pay.

Evidently your job has consumed all of your time and you have not been able to inform yourself of the fact that there will be no stimulus check in this program! This stimulus is designed to purpetuate the advancement of Socialism in the USA.

Wanda you seriously need to start looking for another job. You have your own reasons for quitting when you did and that is none of my business.
I hope you aren't counting on any federal money because the common joe will not get it. Some states are having a hard time paying out for unemployement. So if you have a dang good reason for quitting work, you won't even see any of that money either. Good luck with your future. If you are young enough might I suggest the Air Force?

What 2009 stimulus? This president now doesn't give those out. IF you got one last time in filing you do NOT even qualify for one in 2008.If you get one this time there is NOT an option for this in 2009. The best you can hope for right now is UP TO $13 on a paycheck in the tax relief reflected in the federal amount to get back in paychecks.
If you quit your job, you are out of luck. You need a paycheck for any amount to come back your way. Good luck finding work in these times.
The government will be sure to recoop the up to $13 each week given back too , most likely with tax increases to follow that they won't tell you or that they will have it be reflected in some way in filing taxes next. Leave it up to the good old usa government to take back what they give.I see it when I do my own filing of taxes every year sadly now.
