Are you ready for the shovel ready jobs?

News today suggests that the big 3 will be closing alot more plants and laying off alot more people. But, Obama signed the stimulus bill yesterday so those shovel ready jobs are ready for you. Do not be concerned, ever since the Japanese invented that shovel that stands along side the road by itself, you former UAW members will probably never even have to touch it. Just like the old days, huh?

My husband happens to work a supplier for the big 3 I find it appalling that you would say that. He is a Godly man and I DONT want him to loose his job. They are closing in July unless someone will buy the supplier. At least PRAY for the Christian auto workers caught in this storm of corporate greed. There are ALOT of them that are loosing thier jobs right now. PLEASE,,, show some compassion.!!! The Auto workers are the LITTLE people who struggle to put food on the table and clothe thier kids. While the SELFISH multimillion $ executives have the good life in the thier self made kingdom! Really those are the ones and including WALL STREET YOU SHOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT!!!! Who will call those GREEDY PIGS into account????? THEY had the good life while the rest of us struggle. All I hear are crickets. Obviosly KNOWONE has called them to account. While they party and throw Hollywood style parties at our expense!!!!! While we find a way to make ends meet. Bullcrap!!!!!!!!!!

i tend to agree let the auto industry fish or cut bait -- maybe the should re-tool with not union workers and make tinker toys!!! i do not want the govt to give the auto industry another dollar!!!
