What areas of technology will be growing in the future? ?

I would like to major in some sort of technical field and then perhaps go on to get my MBA. I'm confused as to what area of technology to major in. I know of a couple..for e.g. nanotechnology, genetic research, alternative energy, pharmaceuticals. The problem is none of those really interest me that much. If you know of any fun areas of technology that will be facing growth in the coming future, please let me know!!!

Almost all areas of technology will be growing in future. My daughter chose civil engineering for her graduate degree. I chose electronics engineering a long time ago, over 40 years ago and never regretted it. I have never been out of work and I make a well above average income.

I suggest you go talk to a counselor at a technological university or college - they will be able to tell you of all kinds of possibilities that may interest you more that mesh with your skills and interests.
