Best Answer:
CNA's are basically just direct patient care - vital signs and helping with daily living activities.
CMA's do more - lab collecting: blood draws and urine specimen for example, lab testing: growing cultures and cell counting for example, office procedures, vital signs and insurance billing.
Can't say which is in more demand or easier but CMA's get paid more.

A:
A medical assistant usually aids the physicians in the management of patients in the office or the hospital; a CNA (certified nurse assistant) aids the nurses, usually in the hospital.
We are currently looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to work full or part time in a research project at a Community Clinic affiliated with a University in Chicago. If you are interested, please email you resume to aricar2@uic.edu.
