alternative energy career?

so im interested in getting a career in alternative energy, such as solar power, etc. I dont know that there is high demand for people such as this although, I know it will be important in the near future. does anyone know how to go about getting involved in this type of career? what type of schooling would be good for this? someone let me know

Engineering - Mechanical or Electrical or Aerospace Business (MBA) Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

The only way to make money is as an investor or engineer or owner of a company that installs or builds systems. Being a solar installer pays surprisingly little.
