You're working full time. Sounds lifke they don't want to pay health benefits/vacation. Be sure they are following OSHA laws and giving you at least 2 breaks and time for lunch. Part time is about 20 hours per week.

with my job anything from 12-33 hrs. is part time. I think that if you can handle the 40hrs a week continue with it. Bc 40 hrs. is full time and there are laws and regulations as soon as an employee works more than 40

40 is F/T. P/T is anything under 30 hrs a week. What should you do? Either quit or make it clear to your boss you are a P/T employee and not F/T.

Full-time is 40 hours or more, so to me, part-time would be around half of that or 20 hours a week. If you are working 40 then I agree that you shouldn't be called a part-timer, and as others stated you should qualify for full benefits, 401K, and other perks like any other full-timer, including vacation & sick!

If you're supposed to be working part-time, you should be working about 25-30 hrs wkly. (I am guessing you get paid by the hour-) which means that any hours over that, you should be getting paid time and 1/2. You should read up on this to see if you're entitled to more money, or you should ask your employer (if you're not already) getting partial benefits like medical etc. Below is the website for the department of labor, in case you'd like to know more info about this. Good luck.
